Snowshoes and sleds!

It was such a beautiful day, 50 degrees and lots of sun! So we decided to take the family snowshoeing up North Canyon in Bountiful. It was a lot of fun, my favorite part was sledding back out. Joe and I took turns carrying the pack and sledding with the kids. It was the longest sled run I've ever done, the section I rode with the kids was a quarter of a mile. The kids were laughing hysterically and so was I. It was awesome! Josie and I really wanted to do it again, but that meant we had to go back up, and it was time for lunch and naps.

We had to get up the road before we could take off a trail and use the snowshoes.
So we packed in a ways.

Josie loved trying her little snowshoes. They didn't last long though,
she preferred being pulled on the sled.

My Boys, on top of the world!

Time to turn around, and head down!

This is the very start of my sled run with the kids. We got going real fast since the road was practically just ice. I had to keep my fists in the snow and eventually my feet too so we could slow down. At the end of the canyon road we shot out onto the asphalt and didn't stop then either. Don't worry, we were safe :)
